The magnificent region of ausangate east of cusco is where our adventure will take us. We will be hiking this big snow mountain (6373 mts) visible from cusco. Walking through landscapes, lagoons, glacier, ice caves, alpaca farms and thermal baths at 4000m of altitude. We also visit native cultures that have preserved their traditions for 500 years. Ausangate is one of the highest mountains in the department of cusco. Ausangate also feeds the rivers of the rain forest that flow into the jungle.
Program:
Day 1: Cusco – Tinki. (in local transport)
Day 2: Tinki – Upis. (hot springs)
Day 3: Upis – Lagoon Pucacocha. (where we can fish.)
Day 4: Pucacocha – Finaya.
Day 5: Finaya – Ninaparayoc.
Day 6: Ninaparayoc – Tinki – Cusco. (local transport.)
